What the world needs now is Female Solidarity.

     That is the most frightening phenomena to patriarchy. The reign is slipping from their hands. When we are standing up for each other, we win. Instead of driving us into obscurity by demanding that we don’t name ourselves, that we allow the theft of our achievements, we do not give up what we have gained just to make some men less angry with us. When we actually build a defense on all fronts, we create the future which is female. Rejoice! Yule is about birthing the New Year. Birthing is our middle name.

  I am calling on the wealthy sisters amongst us: don't stay out of the creative fray. In the old days wealthy ladies were supporting the struggle for votes for women. Now that we have the vote, let’s build something worth voting for. Nowadays, I hardly ever hear that wealth has been used to create something for all women. You have to hold the hands of the activists and not expect any of us to be without flaws. We have to grant each other our humanity. I have been running a non-profit on the donations from every woman. I have some big dreams, which need a lot of money. Nothing we can just raise with cookie bake outs and garage sales. I am an Amazon Warrior Grandmother, and my dream is to educate the young. The books I have written have educated, and will continue to educate, the book lovers. That's about 3 percent of the American population, a paltry number. The young like to see pictures. In my old age I would like to create animation stories, which build female

self-confidence as well as educate from our past. I have been brewing this idea for a decade. And of course the entire creative output should feel like natural fun and wrapped into humor.

     I do have a wonderful artist and animal rights activist, Jakkie Moore, whose work is on the same wave length with my own dream; but she lives in Norway and I have met her only once in person. In order to create this animation, we need to hire a lot of women and feminist men. We need to attract a producer the caliber of Tyler Perry, (where is the female Tyler Perry??) and learn a lot about how one puts out a successful product for the good of all yet still entertain. I will continue to be the head writer. Most of all, I need introductions to the Animation empire and have doors open for representation. When there is money in the kitty for development, all of this is possible.

     As you know I am now 80 years old. I simply cannot start from the low ranks as an intern and work my way up nor can I live in Hollywood and make cattle calls. I have several scripts to sell. I wonder if our humble newsletter can penetrate the firewall that keeps feminists out of the mainstream culture. I need the wealthy ladies, with a sense of history. I am not going to put on dress up balls to charm you out of your funds. I suggest you see yourself as a historical activist, where it is a privilege to contribute and create the new feminist culture. Our children need this and we still got to give it to them. If it is not now, then when? If it isn't us, then who? We are still tax deductible, but do it because you got power and you want to pass down power to our descendants.

Blessed be on this Yuletide, be of good cheer. Allow the new to emerge. Aquarius has been loaded up in the heavens. Let us use it.

Final Days of the Jupiter-Saturn Cycle

     The Jupiter-Saturn cycle is one of ten major planetary pair cycles. With twenty

years intervening between successive conjunctions of these two planets, the Jupiter-

Saturn cycle is a medium-length synod (or planetary pair cycle) with a definite effect on

both individuals and society. At present, the current Jupiter-Saturn cycle is in its final

days. The most recent conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn occurred in May of 2000. Since

that time, the two bodies have progressed through the entire range of major planetary

aspects – waxing sextile, waxing square, waxing trine, opposition, waning trine, waning square, and waning sextile. 

     On December 21, Jupiter and Saturn will come once again into exact zodiacal conjunction, signaling the absolute end of the twenty-year interval which began in May 2000 and the absolute beginning of a new twenty-year cycle of personal and collective endeavor.

The Elizabeth Cady Stanton Coven #1 is a teaching coven. We educate our sisters about women’s spiritual herstory. This education began with Elizabeth Cady Stanton's The Woman's Bible. We are now focusing on the works of Merlin Stone: When God was a Woman and Ancient Mirrors of Womanhood.

 

Each coven newsletter includes a lesson, a reading from the current book, and discussion questions for you to answer. When we meet, we go over the answers. The questions are posed to inspire you to contemplate what you have been taught about religion and how that way of thinking has influenced you and those around you. Our hope is that you will start a group wherever you are, discuss the meaning of the works we study with each other, and wake up a few more ladies from their patriarchal propaganda trance.

 Our focus is political spell-casting and educating our sisters about women’s herstory. Patriarchal culture has deprived women from knowing about the Elders who went before us; we reclaim them in order to invite to us a better future. These are important tasks for the times in which we live.
